Lighting a Candle for the Lost Boys

On this weekend of all times when I'm usually commemorating those lost in Japan when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed, I just can't think of it as I think of the recent tragedy of Tim McLean killed on that bus, Craig McDougall shot down by police in Winnipeg, Travis Catellier and his family and all the other lost boys and girls who died under tragic circumstances whether by their own fault or no fault of their own. They just seem so much more important right now than a war that happened 63 years ago.
